Career Development
With over 8 years of iOS development experience in Objective-C and Swift, no project is too large. From enterprise to startup size, I’ve worked through every aspect of iOS development from initial design and development through to Apple App Store distribution.
Much of my experience is working with low level APIs to provide scalable, stable and dynamic APIs. This includes future proofing and ensuring methods and mechanisms for backwards compatability while targetting the specific use case, such as mobile network optimized.
In my freetime I’ve been working to create upbeat presentations that tackle common pitfalls in software development with actual take away resolutions.
Career Development
With the beautiful backdrop of Vancouver’s beautiful mountains, I jumped head first into the local startup scene. I worked as a backend API and front end iOS developer in languages such as Python and Objective-C with up and coming companies such as A Thinking Ape and HootSuite.
After gaining experience with so many popular APIs, I was hired at Twitter HQ in San Francisco for their API team tasked with providing a mobile perspective to new API designs. Shortly after joining, I moved to the Photos and Video team introducing far-reaching features such as: Multi-Photo, Smart Photo Cropping and Video for iOS.
Today I provide consultation services to companies around the world from the beautiful and cultural city of Madrid in Spain. With a focus on simple, maintainable and results oriented architecture my clients are able to focus on their product instead of an underlying web of technical details.
